Melrose Man Arrested in Prostitution Sting

Boston Police conducted an undercover operation on Thursday night in response to community complaints about prostitution in the neighborhood.

A 35-year-old Melrose man was arrested in Boston last night for allegedly soliciting an undercover Boston Police officer posing as a prostitute, according to the Boston Police Department website.

Boston Police Media Relations said that in response to community complaints of prostitution in the lower Blue Hill Avenue area, the department engaged in an undercover operation. Suspects who approached the undercover officer and made an offer of money in exchange for sexual services were then arrested and charged appropriately.

Among the five men arrested by Boston Police was Robert Limose, 35, of Melrose, on the charge of soliciting sex for a fee.
