9:45 a.m. Disturbance on Youle Street.

5:22 p.m. Mailman reports he was bit by a dog on Mendum Street. Pictures taken, notified.

Tuesday, April 3

2:54 p.m. Report of larceny from Lebanon Street.

7:56 p.m. Past disturbance reported from Tremont Street.

Wednesday, April 4

1:56 a.m. Motor vehicle stop at Vinton Street and Maple Street. Dennis C. Conroy, 19, 62 Cutter St., Melrose, was arrested on charges of underage possession of liquor, possession with intent to distribute a Class D drug, driving with a suspended license and no inspection sticker. Tyler A. Dolan, 19, 163 Essex St., Melrose, was arrested on charges of underage possession of liquor, possession with intent to distribute a Class D drug, and no inspection sticker.

8:03 a.m. Harassment reported from Vine Street.

Thursday, April 5

6:18 a.m. Chestnut Street resident came home and found kid climbing on roof, kid took off running down Corey Street with no shirt on.

11:11 a.m. Identity fraud reported from Gooch Street.

Friday, April 6

2:04 p.m. Brush fire on Brazil Street.

4:15 p.m. Person reports that driver of another car showed a handgun. Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau said the person reported a vehicle was following closely to their vehicle on West Wyoming Avenue, and when the cars pulled up alongside one another, the person asked the other driver why they were driving that way, the other driver showed a handgun. DeCroteau said the alleged victim gave police a plate number that tracked back to a Melrose resident, where officers responded and after interviewing that person and establishing they did have a firearm, Melrose Police arrested Mackenzie L. Gray, 29, 17 Tappan St., Melrose, on the charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

5:46 p.m. National Grid called complaining that a neighbor on Orient Avenue is giving the gas crew a hard time. Officer spoke with relatives, neighbor will stay in for the night.

8:32 p.m. Caller reported graffiti on wall of on Essex Street. Two suspects reported. A 14-year-old was issued a summons for tagging property and for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

9:02 p.m. Caller reports small brush fire at Vinton Street and West Emerson Street. put fire out.

Saturday, April 7

2:01 a.m. Officer checking for suspect in previous call about disturbance with boyfriend on Clifton Park. Michael Sean Minson, 24, 10 Proctor St., Everett, was arrested on the charge of assault and battery.

6:31 p.m. Caller reported an open fire on Tremont Street. Fire Department dispatched.

9:01 p.m. Several calls for a large group of youths walking down Appleton Street drinking. That group scattered on police arrival.

Sunday, April 8

10:27 a.m. Harassing phone calls reported from Hillside Avenue.

12:33 p.m. Brush fire off Sewall Woods Road

1:05 p.m. Trash barrel fire at .

1:51 p.m. Complaint of stalking.

4:19 p.m. Malden Police had person run from car stop near Sylvan Street and Lebanon Street. Officer checked the area but could not locate suspect.

5:33 p.m. Caller reports two men fighting in the street on Ridgewood Lane.

Other Arrests and Summonses

A 43-year-old Melrose man was placed under warrant arrest on Monday, April 2.

A 23-year-old Melrose man was placed in protective custody on Saturday, April 7.
