4:21 p.m. Walk-in report from on Lynn Fells Parkway of a lost/stolen credit card.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

12:11 a.m. staff requests police for assistance with patient.

12:37 p.m. Officer assisted person with the geographic boundaries of Melrose.

Thursday, Dec. 29

10:20 a.m. Caller from Main Street reports a larceny.

11:14 a.m. Identity theft reported from Swains Pond Avenue.

1:47 p.m. Domestic disturbance on East Foster Street. Colin J. Doherty, 22, 217 East Foster St., Melrose, was arrested on charges of assault and battery and intimidating a witness.

8:58 p.m. Walk-in report of a domestic assault and battery in the parking lot. A 49-year-old Revere man was issued a summons on the charge of domestic assault and battery.

9:28 p.m. Complaint from McCarthy House senior apartments on Main Street of harassment.

10:50 p.m. Officer at intersection of Lynn Fells Parkway and Lincoln Street approached by motorist who reported a red vehicle sideswiped his car while he was driving east and the other car was driving west. Officer reported finding remnants of glass and red on roadway at Lynn Fells Parkway and Albert Street; description of suspect vehicle put out over radio, was not located.

Friday, Dec. 30

12:31 a.m. Caller reports car window smashed on Carlida Road.

3:09 p.m. Resident reported finding bag of marijuana at . Small baggie contained trace amount of marijuana.

7:15 p.m. Caller reported smoke coming from 25 Holbrook Court. Abandoned house, Fire Department had to force entry. Minor damage, burner smoke only.

Saturday, Dec. 31

4:05 p.m. Domestic disturbance on Grove Street.

6:43 p.m. Reported hit and run on West Foster Street at Myrtle Street.

Sunday, Jan. 1

12:25 a.m. Loud house party on East Street. Officer reports grown up party, was quiet upon arrival.

1:01 a.m. Report of loud house party on Hawthorne Street. Officer reports people will bring party inside and turn off music.

2:07 a.m.  Loud stereo on first floor on Lebanon Street. People will turn down radio.

2:42 a.m. Security at Oak Grove Village having problem with two people. Melrose officers clear, people causing problem left area.

11:44 a.m. Auto theft reported from Lynde Street.

12:42 p.m. Main Street resident reported arriving home from vacation and stated that three-quarters of his home heating oil was stolen from the tank. Officers found no sign of oil on floor or tank or signs of theft; resident was going to contact his oil company to see when the last delivery was.

Other Arrests and Summons

A 26-year-old Lynn man was issued a summons on Wednesday, Dec. 28 on charges of a revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle.

Juliano Joseph, 92 East Foster St., Rear, Melrose, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 30 on the charge of driving with a suspended license.
