Monday, Nov. 28

11:43 a.m. Warrant served on Greenleaf Place. A 21-year-old Melrose man was placed under arrest on five warrants.

3:17 p.m. Report of suspicious activity from . Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau said a round of ammunition was found on the floor of the school and it was a determined that a student had brought it to school. School administrative action was taken against the 16-year-old, DeCroteau said, who was issued a summons on the charge of unlicensed possession of ammunition. "There was no threat, no firearm and no intent shown by the student," DeCroteau said.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

9:27 a.m. Report by a visiting nurse of a disturbance on Crest Avenue. A 34-year-old Malden man was issued a summons on the charge of trespassing.

8:16 p.m. Worker from Melrose Care Center on Martin Street reported someone flattened two of his car tires.

10:45 p.m. Report of a larceny from Franklin Street apartment.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

10:48 p.m. Report of past breaking and entering on Hurd Street. Suspect described to police a skinny white man, 20-25 years old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.

12:08 p.m. Attempted house break on Worth Street.

1:46 p.m. Past house break on East Wyoming Avenue.

4:09 p.m. Past breaking and entering on Hurd Street.

9:40 p.m. Caller from Trenton Street reports past larceny.

10:02 p.m. Caller from Marving Road reports past assault.

Thursday, Dec. 1

1:38 p.m. Threats reported from Main Street apartment.

6:22 p.m. Domestic disturbance on Otis Street.

11:35 p.m. Reported violation of restraining order by text message. A 41-year-old Melrose man was issued a summons on the charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

Friday, Dec. 2

10:23 a.m. Police securing weapons for Gooch Street resident.

10:29 a.m. Vandalism damage to stone wall on Maple Terrace.

10:44 a.m. Trash dumping on trail at Seaview Park by Swains Pond. notified.

10:51 a.m. Man working on Sylvan Street home reports piece of equipment just stolen.

1:09 p.m. Larceny reported from .

3:15 p.m. Larceny reported from Pleasant Street.

3:36 p.m. Request for ambulance on West Emerson Street for a possible overdose. DeCroteau said officers found two male parties, one of whom was treated on scene for an overdose and transported to the hospital, and it's under investigation as to what kind of substance was used.

5:34 p.m. Officer performs area check of and reports not a living soul around.

Saturday, Dec. 3

8:07 a.m. Report of larceny from Albion Street.

9:20 a.m. Stolen bike reported from Meridian Street.

2:45 p.m. Complaint from Argyle Street that neighbor drove over lawn.

6:33 p.m. Several 911 calls for a fight at . DeCroteau said a female party had driven to Starbucks to drop off a male friend and another male saw this take place and chased the male, resulting in a physical altercation inside CVS. No one chose to pursue charges, DeCroteau said.

10:38 p.m. Domestic disturbance reported on West Wyoming Avenue.

Sunday, Dec. 4

8:51 a.m. Report of problem with customer at . Officer assists with the customer’s departure.

11:12 a.m. Officer reports irregularities with traffic lights at Main Street and Sylvan Street. DPW notified.

1:18 p.m. Report of larceny from .

2:32 p.m. Domestic disturbance reported from Grove Street.
