10:24 a.m. Caller reports observing a vehicle strike traffic lights at Main and Green Streets.

11:51 a.m. Vandalism damage to vehicle on West Wyoming Avenue.

7:06 p.m. Report of threats from Cypress Park.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

4:40 a.m. Owner of Harding Road home reports back door smashed in, concerned someone could be inside, owner left area and will report damage later. Police checked out house, no one inside.

7:07-8:57 a.m. Several reports of cars broken into or gone through from Argyle Street, Goss Avenue, Main Street, Grove Street, Summer Street, Mystic Avenue and Ryder Avenue.

9:19 a.m. Woman from Harding Road reported a backfire and then she lost power. Stated she already called the electric company. Officer reports dead squirrel, National Grid on scene and will reset fuse.

1:45 p.m. Larceny from vehicle on Edgemere Street.

3:41 p.m. Caller reports breaking and entering in progress on Derby Road. John Warren Lyman, 25, 30 Lowell St., Wilmington, was arrested on the charge of breaking and entering into a building during the daytime for a felony, receiving stolen property worth more than $250, and possession of a Class E drug. Lyman also had 16 active straight warrants and a default warrant.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

7:13 a.m. Car window smashed on Hurd Street.

10:59 a.m. Verbal assault reported at .

3:24 p.m. Police assist MSPCA with investigation on animal cruelty on West Wyoming Avenue.

4:19 p.m. Caller from West Emerson Street reports fraud.

4:52 p.m. GPS taken from unlocked car on Sylvan Street.

Thursday, Oct. 27

5:23 p.m. Caller from Main Street reports possible past attempted breaking and entering.

Friday, Oct. 28

12:21 p.m. Caller from Pleasant Street states person overdosed. Transported to hospital.

1:50 p.m. Caller states tree just fell across Washington Street. Road closed, National Grid called for two details.

3:21 p.m. Main Street shut down from Upham Street to Grove Street for downtown trick-or-treating.

6:03 p.m. Several 911 calls for an accident on Main Street at Highland Avenue.

Saturday, Oct. 29

10:32 a.m. Caller reports someone fraudulently used their debit card at .

1:54 p.m. Walk-in report of stolen license plate.

10:36 p.m. —Bay State Road, Wyoming Avenue, Lovell Road, Damon Avenue. Trees down all over the city.

Sunday, Oct. 30

6:29 a.m. Train tracks gate snapped off at on Franklin Street. Gate moved to side of the road, T Police notified.

12:01 p.m. Dell Avenue residents reports window screen missing and finger prints on the window.

6:05 p.m. Caller reports that her aunt was robbed while walking on Washington Street. Aunt, translated by niece, told police that she was followed from Oak Grove train station and two teenagers approached her in vicinity of 99 Washington St. demanding her belongings. Alleged robbers described as wearing black hooded sweatshirts, both around 5-foot-1, late teens, one black male and one black female. No weapon shown. Cell phone, undetermined amount of cash and MBTA Charlie Card taken. Under investigation.

Other Arrests and Summonses

Kathy M. McNeely, 45, 714 Lynn Fells Parkway, Melrose, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 24 on the charge of assault and battery.

A 34-year-old Malden man was issued a summons on Tuesday, Oct. 25 on charges of violating an abuse prevention order and threat to commit a crime.

A 17-year-old Melrose man was issued a summons on Wednesday, Oct. 26 on the charge of assault and battery.

A 35-year-old Tewksbury man was issued a summons on Wednesday, Oct. 26 on the charge of a subsequent offense of driving with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation.
