Melrose Woman Summonsed on Underage Drinking Party Charges
At 9:40 p.m. Jan. 4, Melrose Police responded to Lynn Fells Parkway on a report that there was an under age drinking party going on in the area. A 53-year-old Melrose woman was summonsed on charges of keeping a noisy and disorderly house and person under the age of 21 procuring liquor.
Jan. 5
7:17 p.m.: Longfellow Road, report of past breaking and entering. The homeowner reported a past breaking and entering into vacant home and damage to the property.
Jan. 4
11:18 a.m.: Corey Street, report of a past breaking and entering into a business.
11:43 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report a cell phone that was stolen from the Melrose YMCA on Main Street.
1:49 p.m.: Tappan Street, report of soliciting. The caller reported that Verizon employees were going door-to-door. Employees were located and sent on their way.
Jan. 3
2:19 a.m.: West Wyoming Avenue at Corey Street, report of a suspicious motor vehicle in the area. The vehicle was towed, and a 34-year-old Melrose woman was summonsed on a charged of having an uninsured vehicle.
7:36 p.m.: Upham Street, caller reported a past violation of a restraining order that took place in Everett. A 55-year-old Everett man was summonsed on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
