Plaistow Couple Being Held in Protective Custody
They were arrested in Florida after a 3-year-old child was found with horrific injuries at Exeter Hospital.
The Plaistow couple arrested in Florida this week in connection with a horrific child abuse case is being held in protective custody, according to officials.
Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, were arrested at Universal Studios after nearly two weeks on the run.
Dow was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly burning and battering Linscott's 3-year-old son earlier this month. Linscott was charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor-level child endangerment.

Police said they discovered the boy's injuries after he was treated at Exeter Hospital Nov. 14. He is still recovering from his injuries.
The pair on Thursday were being held in protective custody due to the case's high profile, said Allen Moore, public information officer for the Orange County Corrections Department in Florida.

Dow and Linscott will need to decide if they want to come back to New Hampshire voluntarily or go through the extradition process to face their charges.
Dow is facing up to 30 years in prison.
Moore said the pair have denied media interview requests.
Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams has scheduled a news conference at 2 p.m. Thursday to update local media on the case.
