Melrose Residents Arrested on Warrants

At 11:19 a.m. Jan. 18, police arrested Karen Siciliano, 64, of 1104 Franklin St., Melrose, on a warrant. 

At 11:57 a.m. Jan. 18, police arrested Bridget Fleming, 50, of 17 Lynde St., Melrose, on a warrant.

Vandalism Call

At 8:56 p.m. Jan. 18, police responded to East Foster Street for a report of vandalism. A report was taken.

Jan. 14

5:13 p.m.: Police called to the Main Street and Melrose Street area for a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident. No injuries or tows logged. A report was taken.

6:37 p.m.: Police responded to Laurel Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident. No tows or transports logged. A report was taken.

7:57 p.m.: Police received a call from a Beech Street resident about ID theft. A report was taken.

Jan. 15

12:04 a.m.: Police responded to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital for a report of a larceny. Police filed a report.

9:58 a.m.: Police received a call from a Brazil Street resident about her purse being stolen. Police filed a report.

Jan. 16

8:14 a.m.: Police responded to Swains Pond Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No tows or transports logged. A report was taken.

3:49 p.m.: Police responded to West Emerson Street for a report of a two-car accident. No tows or transports logged. A report was taken.

Jan. 17

6:38 a.m.: Police called to Converse Lane on a report of a missing person. A woman reported her son did not return home last night, according to police. A report was taken.

Jan. 18

4:44 p.m.: Police responded to Laurel Street for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. A report was taken.

5:34 p.m.: Police called to Oakland Street for a report of motor vehicle accident. The caller reported a motor vehicle backing into a parked vehicle, according to police. A report was taken.

Jan. 19

No significant items to report.

Jan. 20

8:38 a.m.: Police responded to Swains Pond Avenue for a report of hypodermic needles found in the area. Police retrieved the items. A report was taken.

Jan. 21

3:08 p.m.: Police called to Hunts Terrace on a report of a hypodermic needle found in the area. The item was retrieved by police. 

4:57 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report a past larceny. A report was taken.
