Police Respond to Alleged Road Rage Incident in Melrose
At 1:28 p.m. Jan. 22, Melrose Police responded to Lebanon Street at Forest Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a Dodge Durango and a Toyota 4Runner. A second caller claims it was a road rage incident, with one person allegedly assaulting another person. Both vehicles left the area prior to police arriving on scene.
Jan. 23
7:05 a.m.: Pleasant Street at Stone Place, Malden Police report two-vehicle accident. A citation was issued, and one vehicle was towed from the scene.
8:05 a.m.: Upham Street at Ardsmoor Road, report of an accident. Fire Department notified. One vehicle towed from the scene.
3:18 p.m.: Linwood Avenue, report of a stolen pocketbook.
3:59 p.m.: Main Street, report of a stolen bike.
5:11 p.m.: Green Street, report of a minor accident. Insurance paperwork exchanged.
5:15 p.m.: Lynn Fells Parkway at Rivers Lane, report of an accident. State Police responded and were expected to file a report. Saugus Police assisted with traffic.
6:04 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report an motor vehicle accident that occurred on Jan. 20 in the area of Lebanon and Malvern Streets.
6:48 p.m.: Beech Avenue, caller reported that they were receiving harassing phone calls.
8:17 p.m.: Rite Aid on Main Street, caller reported a possible shoplifter. A 21-year-old Stoneham man was summonsed on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and shoplifting by switching containers.
Jan. 22
4:24 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report a stolen basketball net on Worth Street.
5:44 p.m.: Wildwood Road, resident discovered house was broken into.
