Police Make Multiple Arrests in Melrose

The following is a sampling of entries from the Melrose Police log:
Oct. 3
12:35 p.m.: Caller called to report a possible telephone cam.
2 p.m.: Felicia Road, report of suspicious activity. The caller reported seeing a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene. A 33-year-old Revere woman was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
2:28 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report that their blue-green purse was taken from their vehicle while parked at Whole Foods. The purse also featured an angel on it, and the name "Lillian" was on the purse.
5:39 p.m.: Boston Rock Road, report of a motor vehicle accident.
8:54 p.m. Oct. 3, Melrose Police responded to the Lebanon Street area for a report of lewdness. A man allegedly exposed himself to people walking toward him while asking if he could speak to them.
Oct. 4
2:25 a.m.: Walgreens on Main Street, report of a shoplifter.
12:53 p.m.: Linden Road, report of a domestic disturbance. Philip Young, 54, of 60 Linden Road, Melrose, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.
1:54 p.m.: Main Street at Kingsley Avenue, report of an accident. Doriedson Martins Medeiros, 43, of 16 Gardena St. Apt. #6, Brighton, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
2:24 p.m.: First Street near Winthrop School, report of a past hit-and-run accident.
