Robbery Near Melrose Apartment Complex

At 7:12 p.m. March 28, police responded to the area of Oak Grove Village for a report of a robbery. Two males were reportedly robbed in the area, according to police. A report was taken.

March 28

8:08 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report harassment. A report was taken.

12:06 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for a report of a larceny from an office. A report was taken.

10:22 p.m.: Police called to Town Line Inn for a report of a restraining order violation. A 47-year-old Lynnfield man was summonsed on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

March 29

8:56 a.m.: A person visited the police station to report harassment at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. A report was taken.

9:43 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street Laundry for a report of vandalism. The landlord claimed there was tagging on the building, according to police. A report was taken.

March 30

9:57 a.m.: Police called to Franklin Street for a minor motor vehicle accident. Police assisted with insurance paperwork swap.

11:29 a.m.: Police responded to Myrtle Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. A parked vehicle was struck, possibly by a UHaul, according to police. A report was taken.

1:56 p.m.: Police and Fire responded to a small brush fire near West Foster Street. The fire was extinguished using a fire extinguisher, according to police.

3:58 p.m.: Police responded to an apartment building on West Emerson Street for a report of an assault. A woman reported that her husband had been stabbed in the throat; however, it was discovered to be just a minor cut, according to police. The assault was not random in nature, according to police. The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s, wearing a yellow shirt and jeans with no glasses and no shoes on, according to police. Police are investigating the incident. A report was taken.

4:43 p.m.: Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Upham Street. No tows or transports logged.

5:30 p.m.: Police called to the area of Main and Franklin Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident. A 31-year-old Malden woman was summonsed on charges of having an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle and a number plated violation to conceal identification.

6:30 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Papa Gino's for a report of vandalism. Teens allegedly involved in the fight caused damage to the property, according to police. A report was taken.

6;50 p.m.: Police called to Lebanon and Upham Streets area for a report of an odor of gas outside a structure. Fire Department notified, according to police.

10:34 p.m.: Police called to Lincoln Street for a report of vandalism. A report was taken.

10:26 p.m.: Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Grove Street. A 33-year-old Melrose woman was summonsed on charges of number plate violation, operationg a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle.

11:09 p.m.: Police called to Wyoming Terrace for a report of a past possible breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. A report was taken.
