Three Summonsed on Multiple Drug Charges in Melrose

Three Summonsed on Multiple Drug Charges in Melrose

At 9:17 a.m. Dec. 19, Melrose detectives responded to Fellsway East to provide assistance to another agency during a drug investigation. A 25-year-old Burlington woman and a 30-year-old Bostonian were each summonsed on two counts of distributing a class A drug and one count of conspiracy to violate the drug law. A 26-year-old Roslindale man was summonsed on two counts of distributing a class A drug and single counts of conspiracy to violate the drug law, possession to distribute a class B drug and trafficking in heroin. 

Dec. 20

1:01 a.m.: Green Street at Lynn Fells Parkway, caller reported that a vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road. Richard Sherlock Jr., 47, 6 Howard Farms Lane, Saugus, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

8:02 a.m.: Lebanon Street, off-duty officer called in a minor accident. Parties exchanged insurance paperwork.

1:04 p.m.: Elm Street, caller reported that suspects stole their backpack and kicked in a fence. Suspects could not be located in the area.

4:14 p.m.: Washington Street at Pleasant Street, caller reported that a woman jumped out of a moving vehicle. The woman was taken to a hospital. A 24-year-old Wakefield woman was summonsed on charges of assault and battery on a police officer and assault and battery on ambulance personnel.

Dec. 19

1:27 p.m.: First Street, caller reported that they just struck a cat with their vehicle and noted that the cat was still alive. The cat was picked up by the Health Department and taken to Melrose Animal Clinic.

11:41 p.m.: Laurel Street, caller reported that his truck had been struck by another vehicle that fled the scene.
