Waltham Man Summonsed on Charge of Daytime B&E in Melrose
At 3:33 p.m. Sept. 20, a person visited the police station to report a possible past breaking and entering. A 26-year-old Waltham man was summonsed on a felony charge of daytime breaking and entering and attempting to commit a crime.
Sept. 17
7:49 a.m.: Wyoming Depot on West Wyoming Avenue, caller reported striking the training crossing gates. MBTA Police and Mass Bay Commuter Rail notified. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
9:34 a.m.: Trenton Street resident reports check fraud.
11:57 a.m.: Stevens Road resident reports an assault.
1:40 p.m.: Upham Street at Lincoln Street, report of road rage incident involving a car and motorcycle. Police were unable to locate the alleged aggressor on the motorcycle.
Sept. 18
8:49 a.m.: East Emerson and Lebanon Streets area, reports of a motor vehicle accident. Three vehicles were towed from the scene, and two people were transported to the hospital by fire rescue.
7:31 p.m.: Pleasant Street resident visited the police station to report a stolen vehicle.
Sept. 19
8:47 a.m.: Clifford Street, report of a larceny.
9:21 a.m.: Windsor Communities at Banks Place, report of vandalism to property.
4:27 p.m.: Vinton Street at Lynn Fells Parkway, reports about a man wearing a green shirt, bluish-gray shorts and only one shoe, walking in the roadway crying. The man was located and brought home.
Sept. 20
1:32 p.m.: Main Street at Melrose Street, caller was following a car that hit his. Both drivers exchanged insurance paperwork.
1:47 p.m.: Ashland Street resident visited the police station to report fraud.
2:05 p.m.: Franklin Early Childhood Center on Franklin Street, caller reported money missing.
4:59 p.m.: Bay State Road at Main Street, report of an accident.
5:13 p.m.: Melrose YMCA on Main Street, report of a stolen bicycle.
