Aldermen to Receive Sewer Rates Tonight

Correction: Aldermen will only receive the proposals tonight. The final vote is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, with a public hearing scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on June 20.  

Want to weigh in on the water and sewer budget for the 2014 fiscal year? 

The board of aldermen will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Monday night in their city hall chambers to discuss water and sewer enterprise funds, rates and ordinances. 

The water enterprise operating budget proposed for the 2014 fiscal year is totaled at $4.5 million. The sewer enterprise operating budget comes in at $6.8 million.
