Democratic Caucus to Select Convention Delegates

Democrats in Melrose will hold a caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2012 nominating convention on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Beebe Estate, 235 West Foster Street, Melrose. Doors open at 7:00pm and close promptly 7:30pm.

“Democrats in Melrose and across the Commonwealth are very excited for 2012 elections,” commented Jean Gorman, Chair of the Melrose Democratic City Committee. “The Caucus is the official start to the election process, and it starts right here - at the local level.”

Delegates to the 2012 Massachusetts Democratic Party nominating convention will select candidates to compete for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. The convention will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
