The Melrose Park Department will hold an open house about exploring wind energy at Mount Hood Golf Course on Wednesday, June 22.
In February, the Melrose Park Commission near the 11th hole at Mount Hood that, depending on its size, could power anything from the Mount Hood Clubhouse to all the Melrose's elementary schools.
Residents are encouraged to drop in on June 22 anytime from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Aldermanic Chamber in Melrose City Hall, 562 Main St., to share their thoughts and learn more. Discussions will include the city’s needs, concerns, and presenting information.
