On Friday, May 18, Melrose veterans and the general public are invited to an evening of music to honor veterans, soldiers, and their families, featuring the United States Air Force Band of Liberty. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free but a ticket is required; tickets are available at the Melrose Public Library, the Mayor’s Office, the Milano Senior Center, and the Veteran Services Office.

Set to take place on Saturday, May 19 at Memorial Hall is a black and white gala celebration that harkens back to the sounds of the hall in its youth with the sounds of 18-piece big band orchestra, Dan Gabel and the Abletones.
