Chekwube Nwabueze of the Nigerian National Human Rights Commission

Chekwube Nwabueze will speak about her work as a senior investigating officer of the Nigerian National Human Rights Commission on Sunday afternoon, May 22nd, at the Temple Beth Shalom (21 West Foster Street).  Ms.  Nwabueze is also the founder of HOPE, a community support and outreach agency that, since 2001,  has been serving the victims of floods and land erosion, and impoverished women suffering as a result of domestic abuse.  She is in this country to do graduate work at Simmons College, where she is the president of the Simmons College Amnesty Program.
