Financial Workshop for Parents of MHS Juniors and Seniors

The Melrose High School Guidance Department invites parents of the Classes of 2011 and 2012 to attend a Financial Aid Workshop in the MHS Resource Center

The Melrose High School Guidance Department invites parents of the Classes of 2011 and 2012 to attend a Financial Aid Workshop at the MHS Resource Center on Thursday, Dec. 2 from 7-9 p.m. (snow date Thursday, Dec. 9) which is designed to provide information about the process of applying for financial aid.

The workshop is available to parents of juniors and seniors who want to get an early understanding of this sometimes-complicated process. The college financial aid process can be confusing, especially the first time, and there is no reason for parents to do it alone. With our educational MEFA Counselor, we expertly guide parents through the financial aid process helping them avoid wrong turns and pitfalls.

Find out what's happening in Melrosewith free, real-time updates from Patch.

To further assist families in the college financing process, MEFA has developed a one-stop website, www.mefacounselor.org. A representative from the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority will be present to answer questions.
