Forum: What's the Common Core? What Common Core Standards Mean for Massachusetts, the Melrose Public Schools, and Your Child.

The Common Core Standards are being implemented throughout the Melrose Public Schools this year.  

In an effort to provide more information to parents and the community, Superintendent Cyndy Taymore, Mayor Dolan and the Melrose Education Coalition are co-sponsoring a forum about the new standards on Thursday, October 4 at 7:00 pm in the High School Resource Room.  

Superintendent Taymore and Curriculum Director Margaret Adams will present: “What's the Common Core? What Common Core Standards Mean for Massachusetts, the Melrose Public Schools, and Your Child.”  

This forum, the first in a series on topics in education, also will include a Q&A session, and an informal reception will follow.  This is a great chance to chat with administrators and have your questions answered.
