The Author’s Corner : Hallie Ephron

The Melrose Public Library is pleased to announce the return appearance of award winning author Hallie Ephron who will be speaking at the next Authors Corner program on Tuesday, May 3rd at 7:30 p.m. 

Hallie Ephron is a writer, book reviewer, and writing teacher. Her previous novel, “Never Tell a Lie”, was nominated for multiple awards, including the Mary Higgins Clark Award, and won the David Award for Best Mystery Novel of 2010.  "Never Tell a Lie" has been translated into 7 languages and was also made into the film “And Baby Will Fall” for the Lifetime Movie Network.  Her newest book “Come and Find Me” is a page turning novel of psychological suspense.  It was released in March of 2011.

Hallie is also an award-winning book reviewer for the Boston Globe where her On Crime column of crime fiction book reviews appears each month in the Sunday Ideas section.  She grew up in Los Angeles, the third of four writing Ephron sisters (Nora, Delia, and Amy) whose parents were screenwriters Henry and Phoebe Ephron (The Desk Set, Carousel). Hallie credits genes with giving her the courage to finally get started writing fiction.
