Melrose PTOs to Show 'A Girl's Life'

The PTOs for Melrose High School and Veterans Memorial Middle School will be showing the PBS documentary "A Girl's Life" and holding a panel discussion in mid-February, according to the Melrose Public Schools website.

"A Girl's Life" is by author Rachel Simmons and the book focuses on the lives of four teen girls that discuss a variety of topics, including body image and cyberbullying, according to the site.

The free event is slated for Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Middle School Theater, 350 Lynn Fells Parkway, according to the site.
