With snow in the forecast, Melrose Public Schools have cancelled all Tuesday evening activities, according to a WCVB report.
Melrose is expected to get 2-4 inches of snow during the day, followed by another inch in the evening, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for the city. Temperatures will peak around 26 before dipping to an overnight low of 23; however, wind chill values could make it feel like -7, the forecast adds.
