Melrose Public Schools Closed Thursday
Melrose Public Schools will be closed on Thursday due to the impending snowstorm.
With a snowstorm in the forecast, there will be no school for students of Melrose Public Schools on Thursday, Jan. 2, according to Mayor Rob Dolan's blog.
"We will re-evaluate the situation for Friday on Thursday afternoon," Dolan said in the blog, referring to the possibility that school may or may not be closed on Friday.
Trash and recycling will be picked up on Thursday on a holiday schedule, and all snow calls should be made to the Snow Operations Center at 781-665-0142, adds the blog.
As of 8 p.m. Wednesday, no parking ban was in place.
