Trinity Episcopal Blesses Students at Breakheart
Outdoor mass Sunday at Breakheart Reservation included first annual "blessing of the backpacks."
Parishioners from the Melrose Trinity Episcopal Church enjoyed an outdoor mass under the trees at Breakheart Reservation on Sunday, where Rev. Bruce Lomas blessed students heading back to school this week. Lomas led the first outdoor blessing of the backpacks, followed by a mass and a family picnic by Pearce Lake in Breakheart's recreation area.
