What is This Summer's Reading Assignment?

With summer underway, Melrose High School students are participating in the "One Book, One School" program, during which, all of the school's attendees read The Warrior's Heart by Eric Greitens.

"One School, One Book, One Summer is a program designed to create a shared reading experience within a single school community," the Melrose High School website said.

When school resumes in the fall, students will participate in discussions and assessments to enrich the reading experience.

College placement level students are required to read at least one book from a staff-suggested list and honors students are required to read at least two. More information is available here.
