Stoneham Strong Community Blood Drive: July 30

BOSTON, MA—Senator Katherine Clark (D-Melrose) and the American Red Cross announce the Stoneham Strong Community Blood Drive hosted by the Stoneham Boys and Girls Club and sponsored by Senator Clark, Representative Jason Lewis (D-Winchester), and the Town of Stoneham.

The Stoneham Strong Community Blood Drive will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 2:00-7:00 pm at the Stoneham Boys and Girls Club located at 15 Dale Court.  To make an appointment, please call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit www.redcrossblood.org.  Walk-ins also accepted.  The blood donations collected at this community drive will help patients and hospitals throughout the region.

“This drive is an opportunity for residents of Stoneham and surrounding communities to come together and once again demonstrate their tremendous strength and willingness to make a difference,” said Senator Clark. “The Marathon bombings greatly affected the Stoneham community and brought into sharp focus the need for blood donations.  And, as the American Red Cross reminds us, that the need is constant.”
