Melrose YMCA Gymnasts are 2011 Dual State Champions! Hard work pays off. The Melrose YMCA Gymnastics Team had 54 girls from level 4 to 9 qualify for Dual State Championships. The competition was held April 1-3 in Goffstown, NH.

Melrose was represented well and all of their teams placed top three in the team awards. The Level 5 girls placed first as a team and are now the 2011 MA & NH State Champions! These girls train 3-4 days a week and spend numerous hours learning and perfecting routines of all 4 Olympic events. The next meet, Regional Championships, will take place May 14-16 in Waterville, ME.
