The 1981 Melrose High School Baseball team held a reunion in Melrose on Saturday, Sept. 10.
The 1981 Red Raiders baseball team held a reunion in Melrose on Saturday, Sept. 10 and team member Joe O'Neill passed along this photo. Joe wrote in an email:
"This team won the Middlesex League championship. It was the first Melrose team to win the league since 1962. Led by Coach Jim Buchert, the team went on to win multiple championships after 1981. Many of the players still live locally and have children following in our footsteps."
