Weather: A chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday with a high near 80 and low in the high 60s at night. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Partly sunny on Sunday, with a high near 78 and low in the mid 60s.

Thou comest in such a questionable shape: Take a nighttime  The 90-minute walking tour combines dark Newport History and true ghost stories. You will be led by lantern light thru shadowy lanes and church burying grounds and discover who still haunts these historic locations. Tours are nightly at 8:30 p.m. rain or shine.

Seacoast New Hampshire

Weather: A chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday with a high in the mid 70s and low in the mid 60s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Partly sunny on Sunday, with a high near 78 and low in the mid 60s.

Cookout to thank the troops: The Meat House's 9th annual at the Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth. The cookout raises money for the New Hampshire Air National Guard's Chaplain's Emergency Relief Fund and features food, Redhook beer on tap, live music, a Kids Corner with games and prizes, and raffle prizes.
