necessary evil of snowstorms

We loathe them, we hate them, we curse, we develop abrasive attitudes because of them.  Snow storms straight out suck, most of us can agree to this. We need to keep in mind though, what relativity means.  Not Einsteins theory, but the need to understand there are pros and cons to most situations, positives and negatives.  The yin yang symbol, describes my point.  Snow is vital to our economy.  It is very profitable to contractors, snow removers.  It literally can be a huge portion of their yearly income and budget. Some would and have gone out of business when an entire winter does not produce snow. They lose houses, cars, i have personally  known these people, and it is extremely sad.  And as our trickle down economy, triangle economy is designed, when they get  paid, many others get paid.   From shoppers to waitresses  to restaurants, to equipment manufacturers  to the dreaded auto body business.  I know, its one of the biggest scam businesses of all time, the billion dollar insurance industry does not need any extra assets for their monopoly, but lets not forget, there are lesser employees that work for these giant companies, that earn minimal salary that need employment also.  Listen, I get it, we all get into our own lives, our own problems, our own issues.  With everything on our plates, who has time to worry about the next guy.  But if you really think about it, if only caring about the people we love counted, what merit is in that, that's a given. also, back to just ourselves, there is something very important about that yin yang symbol.  I know people who live in fantastic weather all year, and yes they appreciate it, but just use a little common sense, when spring comes around, im willing to make that bet that we appreciate it a little more.  Cant aprreciate hot without the knowledge of cold, cant truly understand the wonder of walking out your door to a 70 degree day and smelling the flowers without walking out today in this blizzard.  I am not saying one cant appreciate it, I am saying, one cant as much as understanding the other side.  Also, in closing I have been to the west coast, trust me our weather adds to our toughness, resiliency, and flat out realness.  We say what we have to say, much less bs here.  So yes we hate it, I hate it, but try a little to keep the emotion out of the way, become somewhat altruistic for a moment and understand it is a necessary evil.
