Monday Essentials: Hoover School Students to Visit Melrose Public Library

Here are five things going on in Melrose between Sept. 30 and Oct. 6: 

1. Second graders from Herbert Clark Hoover Elementary School will visit Melrose Public Library from 9-10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, according to the library website.

2. The Melrose Heritage Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 in the Genealogy Room at Melrose Public Library, according to the city website.

3. The Melrose Human Rights Commission is set to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 in the Mayor's Conference Room at City Hall, according to the city website.

4. The Melrose Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall Building Board of Trustees meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Memorial Hall, according to the city website.

5. The Great Books group meets from 7-8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 in the Genealogy Room at Melrose Public Library, according to the library website.
