Melrose Cartoonist to Appear at the Hourglass Gift Gallery

Here is a sampling of five things to do in the Melrose area between Dec. 14-15:
1. Melrose cartoonist Mark Parisi will be signing his 2014 page-a-day off the mark calendar from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Hourglass Gift Gallery, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch.
2. Temple Beth Shalom, Melrose’s Reform Jewish synagogue, is offering Shalom Tots, a program designed to provide a meaningful and educational experience for families with children who are not yet old enough for the Shalom School, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch.
3. There will be a Christmas sing-a-long with ukeleles at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at the First Lutheran Church in Malden, according to an event posting on Malden Patch.
4. Malden Public Library will be hosting their Song & Rhyme Time program from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 in the Children's Room, according to the events calendar on the library website.
