1. The Melrose Dog Festival is on Sunday, Sept. 29 and runs from noon to 3 p.m. at the Knoll near the dog park.
2. Millions of Muscles will be having a grand opening party from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at 645 Main St. on the garden level of the United Methodist Church.
