This 40s-style Melrose bakery has the community all abuzz. Located just across from the Wyoming Hill commuter rail station, Busy Bee Bakery is a great place to grab a tasty pastry on the way to work or a delicious dinner-to-go before heading home for the evening. Gosh, It's hard to believe the two other reviewers were talking about the same place! I suppose that says a lot about the value of these reviews. I had breakfast there and enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a fresh fruit cup. I appreciated the fact that that kind of fare was available. Sat at a sunny window table and enjoyed a quiet, extended conversation with a friend.

Thank heaven for Busy Bee. I visit at least once a week and am constantly surprised and excited to see new things each and everytime! [now if I could only try them all!]
I have to give a shout out to the famed chocolate peanut butter cupcakes [ a chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter cup baked into the cake with peanut butter buttercream covered in chocolate with another pb cup on top!] yumo! I also love the blue cheese mac n' cheese and the shepherds pie dinners! And I cant forget to mention the homemade belgium? hot cocoa = liquid chocolate :) Can you tell I love chocolate?
Melrose has many bakeries, but none of them put the amount of the quality and creativity into their products as the Bee does! Such a great addition to the neighborhood.
very dissappointing ..stale, store-bought tasting cookies ..customer service that is painful..look at the reviews here.

the reviews are pretty much all the same ..recently 2 have been added claiming they are excellent ..they both look like transparent plants.
I enjoyed the Julia Child birthday special the Busy Bee had not so long ago, as well as other meals I've had here.
