Melrose High School issued an automated call shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday about a bomb threat made against the school for Thursday, according to a report from a reader.

Initial Report Melrose High School issued an automated call Wednesday afternoon about a bomb threat made against the school for Thursday, according to a report from a reader. In the automated call put out shortly before 3 p.m., High School Principal Marianne Farrell stated students can not use backpacks and they must enter through the main entrance Thursday, according to the report. Calls made by Melrose Patch to the High School went unaswered Thursday.
