A number of name brands are included in the recall.
The FDA announced a major recall of pet products that affects a number of brands. Kasel Associated Industries of Denver is voluntarily recalling all products manufactured at its Denver facility from April 20, 2012, to Sept. 19, 2012, because of possible Salmonella contamination. The brands included in the recall are Boots & Barkley, BIXBI, Nature’s Deli, Colorado Naturals, Petco, and Best Bully Stick items, according to the FDA. The FDA reported that Kasel has not received any reports of illnesses because of the possible contamination.
