A bomb threat recently written in a restroom at Melrose High School triggered school and emergency officials to investigate the incident Wednesday afternoon, according to a press statement issued by Superintendent Cyndy Taymore's office.

"It was brought to the attention of school officials at approximately 12:40 p.m. (Wednesday) that a message was written in the male restroom on the third floor of Melrose High School indicating a bomb threat with tomorrow’s date – 12/6/12," reads the statement.
