At 11:50 p.m. Thursday, Melrose Police responded to West Wyoming Avenue near the Main Street intersection after receiving multiple calls about shots fired in the area, according to the statement. "Units that responded were met by witnesses that were in the area at the time," reads the statement. "It was apparent that several shots were fired from a vehicle into a multiple unit residence at 19 West Wyoming (Ave.)." After determining that no one was injured during the shooting, the scene was secured and a Melrose Police Detective unit responded to and processed the scene, according to the statement. …

At roughly 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Melrose Police responded to 19 West Wyoming Ave. after receiving several calls about shots fired in the area, according to the reports. At least four bullet holes were found in the home, including one in the door and another through the window, according to the reports.
