Police are looking into the possibility that a Plaistow couple who fled the area after a horrific child abuse case had help evading authorities. Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, were arrested Thursday at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. after nearly two weeks on the run. Dow was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly burning and battering Linscott's 3-year-old son earlier this month. A Plaistow, NH couple charged with battering, burning and endangering a 3-year-old remain on the run from police and the search has moved into the Merrimack Valley. Lowell Police have received reports of a couple matching the desciption of Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow in area of Rt. 495 and Woburn Street, according to reports published on Twitter by the Lowell Sun.
