Ragucci: Chances Are 'Great' That Ravine Road Becomes a Two-Way Again

Ravine Road will remain a one-way road through Nov. 21, but it likely will return to a two-way road, according to Stoneham Town Administrator David Ragucci.

A six-month one-way trial period at Ravine Road may run until late November, but it's expected to return to a two-way road, according to Stoneham Town Administrator David Ragucci. Ravine Road, a shared road that runs through Stoneham and Melrose, was supposed to be a one-way road for six months until Nov. 5; however, the signs indicating it as a one-way road are still in place, Ragucci told the Stoneham Board of Selectmen Tuesday night during their meeting at Town Hall. "I've been discussing the future of Ravine Road with (Department of Recreation and Conservation) Commissioner (Edward) Lambert and (Selectman Robert) Sweeney. We'd scheduled a meeting for (Wednesday).
