On Sunday, thousands of people from in and around Melrose gathered downtown to experience the city's annual Victorian Fair. There was a pie toss, demonstrantions, raffles, rides and games. There will be an afternoon's worth of activities at this free event.
When: Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Where: Main St & W Foster St, Melrose, MA | Get Directions » Details: This Sunday, head to Main Street to take in the many delights of Melrose's annual Victorian Fair. There will be rides and other amusements for children, artisans selling their crafts, music, food and a raffle. The Chamber of Commerce, which is sponsoring the event, will also have on sale an ornament depicting City Hall. Last year, attendees could throw pie at a neighbor's face, eat fried dough, watch ballerinas dance, jump in a bounce house and admire a living broze statue.
