And the Prize for Best Looking Pet Goes to ...

It was a close race, but one pet came away victorious.

More than 300 Patch readers had input and there were 249 submissions for the best looking pet in the area. In the end, though, only one pet came away with the prize. Congratulations to Sweet D (pet #88, photo above) and to its owner for receiving the most votes (61) and being chosen by the Patch staff as the winner. The reader who uploaded this photo, KMB, will receive a $50 gift card, plus bragging rights (please email danield@patch.com for more info on how to claim your prize). Runners up (no prizes, just bragging rights) included: Sweety with her black cat friend (#164); brown and white beauty Romeo (#178); Arlington native Koby (#210) ; and Christmas cats Oscar and Buster (#225).
