Hi Kat, thanks for the clarification. That's why I noted no one "explicitly mentioned" was from those wards. It's good to hear Ward 2 has person on the committee. I'll make a note of this in the article. Thanks, Chris.

ReplyIf you're a realtor and you have an open house in Somerville this weekend, by all means upload a photo! On Somerville Patch we encourage people share ideas and information with each other—through comments, notices about events and community happenings, announcements, photos, videos, blogs and more. This is a family-friendly site, and I've found that, by and large, the folks who visit Somerville Patch are respectful of that, even when they disagree vigorously about issues and news that affects the community. So, yes, I encourage everyone to upload a photo, and I trust, based on experience, that people in Somerville are mature enough to do so in a responsible and relevant manner.

ReplyHi Ron, I'm still working to find out more about these proposals, and I don't think the city has put them online yet -- although it would be great if it did put them online.

ReplyI don't yet know the types of projects each developer proposes, but I'm planning to work to find out. On the surface, it looks like most of the developers have residential backgrounds—all of them but Tufts—and the neighborhood, right near Davis Square, would likely be attractive for residential developers, so that's my speculation.

ReplyHi again JC: I see. The bulletin at the top of the page did say "until." Thanks for pointing that out. That's a mistake. Also, it looks like your comment has been erased for some reason. That's also a mistake, and it's not intentional. Sorry about that.
Folks, JC commented that schools are closed THROUGH Wednesday, not UNTIL Wednesday.

ReplyThanks JC. You'll notice that's what the headline and the article says, too.
