Annual Sullivan Family and Melrose Fire Department Blood Drive

This drive is held annually in honor of the donors who helped to save Melrose fire fighter Neil Sullivan's life. Neil Sullivan was seriously injured in August 2005 while fighting a 3-alarm fire in Melrose. Neil received 23 transfusions with-in his first 7 hours at MGH. As I anxiously sat in the waiting room I pledged to hold a drive every summer to help save more lives. Those donors are a huge part of my husbands survival, and I am forever grateful to them. Please join us on Wednesday and help save lives. Walk ins are always welcome or appointments can be made at 1-800-RED-CROSS. This year we are happy to announce we will be raffling off a team signed Bruins jersey, kindly donated by the Bruins organization. Every donor will receive a raffle ticket and the winner will be pulled at the end of the drive.
