Melrose/Sally Frank's Farmers' Market This Week

Come to our Thanksgiving Harvest Festival - an indoor market,  November 24 from 12-4 at Memorial Hall - check it out!

Because of the waning light, we will be closing the market at 6 pm.

This is the last market of the season.  Please make sure you come - let our vendors know how much you appreciate the market so they will come back next year!

Special Events this week....

Come celebrate Halloween at the market!  We will be handing out treats to kids!

2:30-6pm, Face Painting by CN Faces , Sandra Woodring will brighten any face with her wide range of face paintings!  She'll even make your face up for Halloween!

Non-Profit:  Churchill American Little League will be at the market raising money for their kids.  The little league has nearly 300 kids in their league.  The money they raise goes to keep the registration fees down for all the families’, equipment (baseballs, bats), field maintenance, umpires, funding the league they are part of,  trophies, liability, banquets, etc.

Our Vendors this week ....

DICK'S MARKET GARDEN  bringing apples (honey crisp, macoun, matsu, Empire, cameo, brock, jona gold, staymen wine sap, melrouge, golden delicious), tomatoes (heirloom, green), peppers (hot, green, white, purple, red, yellow), kale, garlic, mushrooms (Hens of the woods), eggplant (regular and Asian), parsnips, radishes, celery root, leeks, celery, beets, Swiss chard, broccoli rabe, Bussels sprouts, carrots, corn, winter squash (acorn, butternut, buttercup, delicata, sugar pumpkin, spaghetti), onions (red & yellow), watermelon, potatoes (Yukon Gold, white, red bliss), cabbage, green beans, yellow beans, cauliflower, bok choi, spinach, broccoli, parsley, cilantro and other fresh herbs

WRIGHT LOCKE FARM:  Our organic farm!  bringing tomatoes (cherry and tomatillos),  Asian eggplant, kale, spicy mix, potatoes, carrots, radishes, various winter squash, various herbs.

BOB ROBERTO'S SEAFOOD : bringing haddock, cod, blue fish, flounder fillet, tuna, swordfish steaks, swordfish kabobs, wild Alaskan salmon fillet, fresh shrimp, sea scallops, halibut fillet, and hake.  

SHADY PINE FARM:  bringing grass fed, hormone free beef, pork, lamb poultry and pastured eggs.  Preorder eggs from by contacting Julie at 774-200-0084 or shadypinefarm@verizon.net by Tuesday.  Julie is also taking orders for fresh turkey that is provided by Clover Hill Farm in Hardwick.   Julie is also bringing cranberries from Clover Hill Farm which are grown in dry bogs. 

CANNISTRACI FINE FOODS: bringing Popovers - cheese, cinnamon, chocolate and plain, breads- Italian, multigrain and rye. Small fruit pies-apple, blueberry and cherry.

7 ATE 9 BAKERY: bringing her creamy cheese cakes including classic and pumpkin made from pumpkins from Dick's Market Garden

BEVERLY FARMS SOAPWERKS: bringing homemade organic glycerin soaps, deodorants, and creams.

MARY ELLEN CRAFTS: bringing her perennials, house plants, felt boards, jewelry.
