On the Melrose Patch Facebook page, reader Rebecca Taplin asked "When is the downtown Halloween event this year?"
The event is slated for 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 at businesses in downtown Melrose, according to the Melrose Chamber of Commerce's event page.
