UPDATED: Melrose Public Schools to Issue Statement on MHS Bomb Threat

Melrose High School issued an automated call shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday about a bomb threat made against the school for Thursday, according to a report from a reader.

Melrose Public Schools will be issuing a press statement regarding the reported bomb threat Thursday afternoon, according to the Superintendent's office.

Melrose High School issued an automated call Wednesday afternoon about a bomb threat made against the school for Thursday, according to a report from a reader. 

In the automated call put out shortly before 3 p.m., High School Principal Marianne Farrell stated students can not use backpacks and they must enter through the main entrance Thursday, according to the report.
