Who are the Melrose Entrants Running the 2014 Boston Marathon?

Find out how many Melrose runners have had their qualifying times verified by the Boston Athletic Association and will be participating in the 2014 Boston Marathon.

With the Boston Athletic Association closing registration for qualified runners last week, Melrose Patch has compiled a list of Melrose entrants who will be participating in the 2014 Boston Marathon.

Registration opened on Sept. 9 and closed at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.

As of noon on Monday, 26 runners (15 women, 11 men) from Melrose have had their qualifying times verified and will be running the 2014 Boston Marathon. However, more names may be added to the list at a later date once the B.A.A. has completed reviewing all registration forms and verified qualifying times. We'll update the list, as needed.

The 118th Boston Marathon is slated for Monday, April 21, 2014 and will mark the 29th consecutive year that the event will have John Hancock Financial Services as its principal sponsor, according to the B.A.A. website
