Melrose League of Women Voters to Host Candidate Forums

Find out when and where the Melrose League of Voters will host the Candidate Forums this week.

The Melrose League of Women Voters will be putting on Candidate Forums at Roosevelt Elementary School this week, according to the League of Women Voters website.

The Candidates Forums is slated for 6:30-10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 in the Roosevelt Elementary School Cafetorium. There will be forums for the Alderman-at-Large and School Committee Wards 2 and 7 races; however, there won't be one for Ward 4, as Alderman Bob Boisselle is unable to participate and there is just one other person vying for the position.

There is expected to be a panel for each forum, which is open to the public. The forums will be televised and aired before the local election.
